I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and have been providing therapy in charities in Tunbridge Wells and London since 2000. I have experience of working in the NHS and of supervising across a range of modalities at Bromley Community Counselling Service. I have supervised trainees at WPFtherapy and I have a private practice.

 

I trained with the Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF)  and qualified as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist licensed to see people twice weekly in 2008.

 

My professional association is The Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC) and I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). You may check my membership with these organisations. Each has a complaints procedure and a code of Ethics and Practice to which I am bound.

 

All of these organisations ensure that its members are appropriately qualified and once a year check to ensure that their members undertake ongoing professional development. You can be assured that I have undergone my own personal psychotherapy and that I have regular supervision with a senior colleague.

 

All psychotherapy and counselling with me is confidential apart from entrusting your contact details to a colleague so that they can contact you in the event that I am unable to do so. Other than this I will not disclose confidential information about you without your permission unless I am required to do so for legal reasons. In this event you can be assured that I will provide no more information than is necessary to protect the health and wellbeing of yourself and others.
